Heather and David were married at the Rock Springs Winery outside Grayson, Kentucky. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t marvel at the amazing decorating job that they and their families and friends did—the rustic barn came to life, adorned with flowers, collectibles and twinkling lights. It was really something to see. And their wedding day was equally fun to behold. Heather turned the notion of a traditional wedding on its ear (rather than sit sequestered away, for instance, she mingled freely with guests before the ceremony). No bridesmaids or groomsmen. No bouquet toss. No first dance. Instead, they exchanged vows, strolled out of the barn for some pictures, and then headed back to eat and be merry with all their friends and family. It was really charming, and I feel fortunate to have been a part of it. So thanks, guys. And enjoy your adventure together.
