Emily and David were married at Drees Pavilion in Devou Park, which offers a great view of Cincinnati. And though rain forced the wedding ceremony indoors, soon afterwards the clouds parted and people went back outdoors, greeted by a big, vivid rainbow arching over the cityscape below. It’s always great documenting a wedding like Emily and David’s where everyone has such an open love for one another. You could see it in every glance the couple shared, in their parents’ smiles and in the way everyone crowded together in a narrow hallway after the ceremony. Thanks for letting me take part in your wedding day. And enjoy your adventure together, Emily and David.

I’m really glad I made an exception to my one-wedding-per-weekend rule for my friend Breck and his wife Becca. Some weddings just overflow with emotion, laughs and revelry, and theirs certainly delivered on this score. It was actually difficult to document the toasts, as they were so moving and funny all at once. If there’s some camera shake to a few images, it’s because I was howling with laughter. Sorry about that. Anyway, I consider myself fortunate to have been part of the occasion. Congrats, guys. And enjoy your adventure together.

Shana and Justin were married in a charming ceremony in Frankfort, Kentucky, before heading to Buffalo Trace distillery for a fun reception (fueled in part by what Buffalo Trace is known for). It was a great time, and everyone really let their hair down by the end of the evening. When the night wound down, Justin and Shana were greeted by their matching TrailBlazers, which were lovingly decorated with streamers and, um, some interesting commentary.
