Ashley and Joe, both alumni of Eastern Kentucky University, put on a great wedding that brought them back to their stomping grounds on campus. Hosting their reception at the Keene Johnson building was a nice touch, although I’ll admit I’ve never seen the stately building filled with so many tipsy revelers going nuts (it’s usually the site of slightly duller things like employee benefits programs or job fairs). It made for a fun evening and a hilarious dance floor, particularly when Joe’s fraternity members circled around Ashley and then brought Joe into the fray (only to watch him slip on some spilled beverage and plunge to the ground). He bounced back up. The crowd cheered. And the show went on. Thanks for letting me document everything–and enjoy your adventure together. Special thanks on this wedding are due to Marla Marrs, the photo editor at The Eastern Progress newspaper, who assisted me in photographing the event. And also a big thanks is due to Tyler Miller, of Events by Ty, who did a fantastic job with the wedding planning and decor.
