Alyssa and Leland were married in a big, white tent on a slope of lawn at her grandfather’s hilltop house, just outside Somerset, Kentucky. Rain kept most of the festivities indoors (or in-tent), but that did little to dampen the day’s sense of promise. It was everywhere you looked: from the homemade signs and floral arrangements to the friendly banter and camaraderie that greeted guests at every turn. After Alyssa and Leland exchanged vows and boogied out the tent’s exit, everyone found their way back into the tent for some toasts and some high-octane dancing. I remember laughing a lot as I watched everyone get down, particularly Alyssa and Leland, as they ham it up with the best of ’em. It made for a delightful and remarkable evening. So thanks for having me along, Alyssa and Leland, and enjoy your adventure together.
